About The Position

Amentum is looking for a Mechanic Helper to join our team in McLean, VA! As a Mechanic Helper, you help various skilled tradesmen as assigned. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist tradesmen in any or all of tradesmen’s work from simple to complex tasks. Work is performed under general direction of higher-classification tradesmen.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.
A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Any experience in work related to building maintenance or construction.
High school, trade school, vocational school graduate or equivalent required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US Government Clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
