Plumbing Mechanic Helper
About The Position
Meridian Mechanical Services, LLC. is currently looking to fill a position within our team. Meridian currently manages all types of Commercial HVAC/R, Plumbing, Gas and Pipe service work. We are looking for a team member well versed in plumbing mechanics. This position will report to the field around East and Central Florida.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge in the use of hand and power tools
- Effective communication and personable skills
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- 0-1 years’ experience in Plumbing trade
- Valid driver’s license and transportation
- Must have own tools (personal hand tools)
Nice To Haves
- Basic mathematics and conversion of measurements (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist with Install of plumbing systems, and equipment in commercial structures.
- Understanding of OSHA requirements and processes
- Enforce safety procedures.
- Coordinate with trade supervisors for daily task and assignments
- Read and interpret drawings
