This position is responsible to assist the shop by running parts, washing trucks, fueling small vehicles, inventory control, light janitorial, and assisting mechanics with other duties as needed. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in a similar role.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team or independently and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to hold and maintain a driver's license in accordance with all state regulations with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the operation of small trucks pulling trailers and small flatbeds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics with vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Retrieve and organize tools, parts, and supplies.
• Perform basic tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Help with lifting, moving, and positioning heavy parts and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the lead mechanic or supervisor.
