Persons employed as a Mechanic - Ground Service Equipment - Full-Time is expected to inspect and maintain ground support equipment used in operations. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling ground support equipment. They will also check and service equipment with fuel, water, oil, and hydraulic fluid, and diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals. Responsibilities also include building and assembling machines or mechanical components, inspecting machines and diagnosing functionality issues, conducting repairs for maximum reliability, performing thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems, cleaning and lubricating machinery components, and replenishing fluids and components. Additionally, they will provide consultation on maintenance and preventative measures, keep logs of work, report on issues, and complete required GSE paperwork.
