About The Position

Supports the maintenance, repairs, and inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Must provide and maintain personal maintenance tools.
Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language in order to perform the various tasks of the job, including but not limited to: converse with co-workers and members of the general public; understand oral and written instructions as well as governmental regulations; respond to questions and inquiries from management and government representatives; and accurately review and complete various documents, reports and records required of the position.

Troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds propane and diesel forklift engines.
Diagnoses failures and maintains all systems and parts associated with forklifts.
Uses hydraulic jacks to gain access to the underside of the units for maintenance and repairs.
Conducts regular inspections of forklifts to identify any issues.
Performs routine maintenance on forklifts such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and battery maintenance.
Monitors and manages parts inventory levels and supplies needed for maintenance and repairs.
