About The Position

As a Mechanic Engineer at JLL, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for the operation and maintenance of a premier commercial real estate property. You will perform essential maintenance, conduct routine assessments of all building systems, and ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for our tenants. In this role, you are collectively shaping a brighter way by providing exceptional service and maintaining the integrity of the facility. Requirements

  • 3+ years of operating/building engineering experience in a commercial setting
  • Must possess the following certifications: S12, S13, A35, and P98
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to handle physical tasks and operate various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and standards. Ensure all safety procedures are followed and report any hazards immediately.
  • Conduct regular assessments and rounds of all building systems to ensure optimal performance. Identify potential issues and proactively implement solutions.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building equipment and systems. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all maintenance tasks to prevent system downtime.
  • Perform minor painting tasks and assist with general housekeeping to maintain facility aesthetics and functionality.
  • Monitor and maintain air conditioning, refrigeration, and chilled water equipment. Diagnose and repair any issues to ensure efficient operation.
  • Maintain and repair hot water heaters, pumps, valves, piping, and filters to ensure consistent water supply.
  • Respond to and perform services for tenants as requested in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with new system installations to ensure proper operation and integration.
  • Ensure systems are operated and maintained in compliance with local, state, county, or federal codes. Maintain necessary documentation and records for compliance purposes.
