Unitex is currently seeking a skilled Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Newburgh, NY. This position is great for someone with mechanical abilities and has tremendous growth potential. Requirements
- Strong desire to learn industrial laundry maintenance and grow within the company.
- Punctual and reliable a must
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Repairs carts, maintains slings, takes on small projects, and performs routine maintenance and repairs on industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and press machines.
