About The Position

This role involves operating light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and equipment, including small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills, punch presses, power brakes, shears, or saws. The individual may be responsible for setting up and adjusting machining machines, as well as performing maintenance on them. Work must be checked using prescribed gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. Additionally, the position may require monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 1 year of related experience
May require certification

Responsibilities
