Overwatch is a service-disabled Veteran-owned small business (SDVOB) certified through the National Veterans Business Development Council (NVBDC), offering construction professional services, talent acquisition, and general contractor services for the mission-critical infrastructure industry. Our mission is the construction and management of state-of-the-art data centers with the precision and reliability this industry demands. From high-end engineers to seasoned professionals, we deploy the people you need to get your data center off the ground. At Overwatch, it's more than a job. It's a purpose. The job is design and OFCI ownership for mechanical systems, not site operations. The team's description says the director supports innovation and campus master planning so facilities stay cost-effective and energy efficient. Approve contract documents produced by outside design consultants, and keep those designs on schedule and on budget. Give engineering guidance on projects, operations, and systems in existing facilities. Write and maintain equipment specifications for owner-furnished, contractor-installed (OFCI) mechanical equipment and systems. Support procurement of that OFCI gear: vendor submittal review, approvals, and factory witness testing. Maintain the legacy basis of design and help write new basis-of-design documents for new business needs. Recommend and implement technologies that cut energy use and cost. Set and enforce engineering and design standards, policies, and security measures. Stay current on data center engineering and design trends. Travel 25-30% Domestic.
