Plan, coordinate, and execute MMRP and environmental remediation projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the projects are accomplished within prescribed scopes, schedules, and budgets. Develop, implement, and maintain procedures and programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a 4-year college or university in engineering, geology, or environmental related degree from an accredited college
  • 3+ years of industry-related experience.
  • Demonstrated munitions related or environmental remediation experience to include project/contract start-up and close-out.
  • Proven leadership in bidding and executing military munitions and environmental remediation projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with previous involvement in preparing project CERCLA process documents (MR QAPP, SI, RIFS, and RA), proposals, submittals, RFIs and close-out documentation.
  • Ability to effectively interact with clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff and subcontractors.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite Products.
  • Current 40hr HAZWOPER or 8hr Refresher certification or willingness to obtain training and provide certificate of completion prior to the first day of employment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to project sites which may be in remote locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Certification (PE, PMP, and/or PG).
  • 4-6 years of industry-related experience.
  • USACE/Department of Defense (DoD) contracts experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage MMRP and environmental remediation projects, including technical and UXO personnel.
  • Author technical reports including work planning and completion reports.
  • Develop and maintain baseline budgets and schedules for assigned projects.
  • Cost estimating and review of project plans and specifications to support proposals; project schedules using MS Project and Cost Tracking applications.
  • Forecast project work on existing contracts.
  • Report to supervisor on project status.
  • Manage project operations to meet project schedules, scopes and budgets.
  • Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee development of staff.
  • Manage and build client relationships, including preparing proposals, negotiation of contracts, and maintaining client contacts.
