About The Position
This role focuses on servicing and dispatching customers, providing product information, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the meat market. Responsibilities include preparing marinades, cleaning display cases and work areas, managing inventory, and optimizing sales. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- Ability to read at an eighth-grade level.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Knowledge of weight measurements.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Service and dispatch customers, providing product information.
- Organize and clean the display cases of the meat market.
- Prepare a variety of marinades.
- Clean the meat market area, including the carnitas preparation area and freezers.
- Rotate products in the refrigerator or freezer.
- Arrange merchandise and maintain inventory control.
- Optimize sales.
- Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards.
- Report faulty equipment and hazards to management.
- Perform any other task assigned by the store manager.
