About The Position
The Meat Seller is responsible for servicing and dispatching customers, providing product information, organizing and cleaning display cases, preparing marinades, cleaning the meat market area, rotating products, managing inventory, and optimizing sales. This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Ability to read at an eighth-grade level.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Knowledge of the weight measurements.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Service and dispatch customers, providing product information.
- Organize and clean the display cases of the meat market.
- Prepare a variety of marinades.
- Clean the meat market area, including the carnitas preparation area and freezers.
- Rotate products in the refrigerator or freezer.
- Arrange merchandise and keep inventory control.
- Optimize sales.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards.
- Report faulty equipment and hazards to management.
- Perform any other task assigned by the store manager.
