Requirements

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific procedures.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of meat products.
Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a meat/seafood department or food service is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assisting customers with meat/seafood product selection and offering tailored recommendations based on their preferences.
Cutting, trimming, and packaging meat/seafood products to meet specific customer requests.
Ensuring the department remains clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Maintaining proper inventory levels, assisting with ordering and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
Following food safety and sanitation regulations to uphold product quality.
Accurately labeling and pricing products.
Creating visually appealing displays.
Addressing customer inquiries and special orders.
Collaborating with team members and management to achieve department goals.
Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
