About The Position

The Meat Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the Meat department operations while maintaining a profitable department, high quality products and superb service levels. The manager implements marketing ideas to promote the business, encourages a high level of employee engagement, maintains revenue and expense budgets, and meets budgeted productivity while keeping quality and guest service consistently high.

Requirements

  • 3 - 6 years experience in a retail environment with at least 1 year of in a leadership role
  • 2 – 5 years meat cutting experience.
  • Experienced in leading a team with a focus on customer service.
  • Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure established sale targets and margins are obtained
  • Explore opportunities to grow sales and increase margin
  • Lead training and development of team members with the department
