The Meat Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the Meat department operations while maintaining a profitable department, high quality products and outstanding service levels. Key responsibilities include: Completing meat cutting tasks such as product cutting, pricing, packaging, and providing superb customer service. Ensuring adherence to the departmental budget. Overseeing inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock management. Ensuring the department is well-merchandised, with accurate promotions and engaging displays. Participating in the recruitment, training, development, and performance management of team members. Providing hands-on leadership and daily support to team members by fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
