This position's objective is to assist customers in their shopping experience by providing high-quality meat products in the most efficient, friendly, and courteous manner possible. The individual will also be responsible for receiving, stocking, packaging, and displaying meat products in the Meat Department, and will assist customers at the meat counter and with smoked products. A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment. The employee must meet the training and experience requirements for a Journeyman Meat Cutter status within the first 2 years of employment. Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan is also required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
