Meat Cutters are reliable, energetic, team-driven individuals who are ready to work in a fast-paced environment. They must be detail-oriented and able to multitask and complete assignments, while providing excellent customer service. In this role, you break down beef, pork, poultry, and other meat products into various cuts before weighing out portions to sell. You also help prepare specialty items, such as sausages and cured meats. You must follow all refrigeration safety and manufacturing sanitation. As a meat cutter, you may also provide customers with advice about proper cooking techniques.
