At Tony's Fresh Markets, we are looking for a Meat Cutter to perform various cuts for meat items using a knife and/or saw machine. Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent required
- Basic kitchen skills; familiar with food preparation
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Efficiency and expertise in using cutting knives and tools
- Ability to properly communicate with co-workers and customers
- Ability to follow the positions responsibilities and guidelines
- Safe cutting techniques
- Multitasking capabilities
Responsibilities
- Stocking merchandise in both fresh and frozen cases
- Following established department procedures for receiving incoming shipments
- Product pricing
- Ensuring product's quality, protections, accuracy and proper rotation in coolers
- Rewrapping meat packages as needed
- Constant meat cutting with knife and/or saw machine
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements
