The Meat Cutter is responsible for the preparation of Meat items for sale in the Cutting Room, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of meat production according to Department standards. This role involves following cutting lists for maximum yield and productivity, fulfilling customer requests for custom cuts, grinding, chipping, chopping, wrapping, and maintaining housekeeping, sanitation, and machine maintenance. Secondary duties may include working the sales floor, stocking, rotating, pricing, merchandising, and providing customer assistance, especially during evening or weekend rotations.
