Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Basic kitchen skills; familiar with food preparation.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Efficiency and expertise in using cutting knives and tools.
Ability to properly communicate with co-workers and customers.
Ability to follow the positions responsibilities and guidelines.
Safe cutting techniques.
Multitasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

Stocking merchandise in both fresh and frozen cases.
Following established department procedures for receiving incoming shipments.
Product pricing.
Ensuring product quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
Rewrapping meat packages as needed.
Constant meat cutting with knife and/or saw machine.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
Ensuring great customer service.
