About The Position
Market of Choice in South Eugene is now hiring for a Meat Cutter, starting at $17/hour to $20/hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity. Market of Choice is a growing, local company with excellent benefits and opportunity for growth.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Open availability which includes working evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cutting experience.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize outstanding customer relations by assisting with selections and recommendations of products.
- Cut and trim to specification several varieties of meat, fish, and poultry.
- Prepare ready-to-heat foods by filleting meat or fish or cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
- Prepare and adding vegetables or applying sauces or breading.
- Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat.
- Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display cases in attractive and eye catch ways.
- Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements.
