The Meat Cutter is responsible for the preparation of Meat items for sale in the Cutting Room. This role requires demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of meat production according to department standards. The primary duties involve following the cutting list for maximum yield and productivity, fulfilling customer requests including custom cuts, grinding, chipping, chopping, wrapping, maintaining housekeeping and sanitation standards, and performing machine maintenance. Secondary duties may include working the sales floor, stocking, rotating, pricing, merchandising, providing customer assistance, and covering the department during evening shifts or weekend rotations.
