About The Position

As a Meat Cutter Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced meat cutters to learn how to cut, trim, and prepare a variety of meat products. You will assist with setting up displays, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and providing customer service. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. No prior cutting experience is required; on-the-job training and mentorship are provided.

Requirements

• Eagerness to learn meat cutting skills through on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to learning and contributing to the team.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safe handling practices for raw meat.
• Friendly, helpful customer service approach and ability to answer product-related questions.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in refrigerated environments.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
• Willingness to work with fellow associates and contribute to a positive store culture.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn to use meat department tools and equipment.
