About The Position

As a Meat Cutter Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced meat cutters to learn how to cut, trim, and prepare a variety of meat products. You will assist with setting up displays, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and providing customer service. This hands-on role is in a fast-paced environment and offers on-the-job training and mentorship. No prior cutting experience is required.

Requirements

Willingness to learn meat-cutting skills.
Reliable, hardworking, and committed to learning and contributing to the team.
Basic knowledge of sanitation and safe handling practices for raw meat.
Friendly and helpful customer-service attitude, with the ability to answer product-related questions.
Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs., standing for extended periods, and working in refrigerated environments.
Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
Willingness to work with fellow associates and contribute to a positive store culture.
Familiarity with or willingness to learn how to use meat department tools and equipment.
