As a Meat Department Associate, you are a key player in maintaining the quality and freshness of our store's most popular cuts. We are looking for a professional, punctual, and service-oriented individual to support our butchers and management team. Whether you are assisting a customer with a custom order or ensuring our displays are perfectly stocked, your work ensures our community gets the very best for their dinner table.

Requirements

A courteous, punctual teammate who conducts themselves in a business-like manner and follows their schedule reliably.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and transport heavy meat products via hand truck.
Experience or a strong aptitude for handling potentially hazardous kitchen and butchery equipment with delicacy and care.
A "can-do" attitude and a willingness to assist management and fellow associates to keep the store environment clean and safe.

Responsibilities

Unload fresh, cured, and boxed meats from delivery trucks using hand trucks.
Maintain peak freshness by examining and rotating stock in storage to avoid aging.
Keep refrigerated and frozen meat cases fully stocked and visually appealing for our guests.
Greet every customer with a smile, take custom meat orders, and provide helpful, professional service.
Use high-pressure hoses and brooms to keep grinders, containers, and storage rooms spotless and safe.
Safely operate specialized equipment, including meat slicers, heated wrapping stations, and cutlery.
