The Meat Clerk position is responsible for working in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment, either independently or with others, in a cool/cold setting.
Requirements
- Highly organized with a keen sense of details
- Great listening and communication skills
- Ability to handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Assist customers when applicable
- Stock and wrap items quickly and carefully with reasonable expectancy
- Handle various raw meat products to wrap, price, and stock into display cases
- Operate meat department equipment such as auto wrapper, scale, slicer, etc.
- Lift and load product weighing up to 50lbs
- Sweep, clean up, and sanitize work stations as assigned by Meat Staff leader
- Clean display cases and fill supplies when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
