About The Position
Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together. This role is for a Meat Clerk who is looking for a career in Retail Store Operations.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and a positive team player attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to and at times in excess of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as a team
Responsibilities
- Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines representing the Values and Brand.
- Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines on Dress Code, Personal Hygiene and Customer Service.
- Ensure high level of customer service is provided at all times.
- Be professional, friendly and courteous in the work environment.
- Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products, the source of products, cooking, and preparation of meat.
- Stock and rotate products on display.
- Participate in maintaining location image and housekeeping standards.
- Advice the department manager when orders for replenishment are required.
- Provide positive consumer experience to all customers.
- All other duties assigned
