  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains department organization and standards by keeping the department clean, organized, and properly zoned.
  • Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.
  • Ensures accurate pricing and signing by correctly signing and pricing all merchandise and following established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
  • Follows food safety and cold chain practices, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.
  • Prepares and serves deli products by taking customer orders and preparing deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken.
  • Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.
  • Complies with Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
  • Is open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
