About The Position

The Meat Assistant Manager will be responsible for providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. This role involves meat cutting, processing, wrapping, pricing, merchandising, cleaning, sanitation, stocking the deli, receiving product, tracking invoicing, and maintaining accurate inventories.

Requirements

  • World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, coach & direct team members.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, multitask & perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 80 pounds.
  • Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to customers and teammates.
  • Create a “team” atmosphere.
  • Lead, motivate, coach & direct team members.
  • Be knowledgeable with all products on display to assist shoppers.
  • Taking Inventory.
  • Receiving product.
  • Meat cutting and wrapping.
  • Work in deli.
  • Clean-up and sanitation.
  • Stocking meat counter.
  • Putting product away in cooler and freezer.
  • Assist with training department new team members.
  • Report to work on time as scheduled, in proper work attire, prepared for their full shift.
  • Learn, follow and model all safety operating procedures.
  • Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
