This role involves oversight of measurement systems, including calibration of tanks, tank cars, and equipment, as well as tank gauging, gas and liquid measurement, meter proving, and temperature & pressure correction for volumetric measurements. The technician will also be involved in control charting, applying basic concepts and applications of statistics. A key responsibility is providing operability and maintainability inputs for the Instruments & Controls discipline. The role requires installation, maintenance, and calibration of measurement equipment, as well as installation and maintenance of radio equipment to ensure communication uplinks. The candidate must be able to participate in and understand various measurement technologies and standards, including orifice/ultrasonic/turbine/Coriolis measurement, AGA Measurement Standards, Fisher ROC/ABB configurations, Radio communications, and hydrocarbon sampling for analysis. A strong commitment to safety culture and environmental standards is essential.
