Measurement Tech I
About The Position
This technician will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and repair of electronic flow meters, communication equipment, and LACT Units. Responsibilities include field sampling according to regulatory specifications, H2S monitoring using stain tubes, and the installation and testing of automation for operational controls of measurement devices for wells & production facilities. The role also involves the installation and configuration of wireless radios, and the ability to independently take on new projects, develop solutions, and implement ideas. This technician will collaborate closely with the back office measurement and production accounting teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic PC, Excel, Word, email, and Internet skills.
- Ability to learn multiple software programs used in configuration of field devices.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 3+ years of liquid/gas measurement or field automation within the oil & gas industry.
- Experience with various EFM, Rosemount Devices, Freewave & Tropos Radios.
