Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of pipeline and measurement operations and maintenance experience or equivalent petrochemical / oil industry experience
• Strong mechanical and electronic aptitude
• Strong safety culture
• Strong computer and data process skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Valve O&M experience
• Organization and record keeping ability
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to stand for long durations
• Valid driver’s license, a safe driving record
• Ability to pass auditory and optic exams

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of gas measurement or I&E operations and maintenance experience
• Natural gas measurement experience
• Working knowledge of DOT 192 is preferred
• Chromatograph O&M proficiency
• Control valve and OPP O&M experience
• Associate degree or Certificate of Completion in Electrical or Electronics Technology from an Institution Accredited by one of the National Regional Accrediting Bodies.

Responsibilities

• Calibration, gas sampling, testing, operation, and maintenance of measurement facilities in assigned area, and likely to provide support in adjacent areas, along with project support.
• Responsible for over-protection systems, maintaining and inspecting valves, flow control valves, pressure control valves, valve actuators, and remote capabilities to various types of equipment and maintaining gas conditioning equipment and various analyzers.
• Environmental, health, safety, and reliability support for natural gas transmission, including recognizing and reporting abnormal and safety-related operating conditions, accident and near-miss reporting, emergency response, regulatory compliance activities, and equipment repair.
• Participation in emergency and abnormal condition callouts for assigned area.
