The role requires an associate degree in a technical field or related discipline, although relevant work experience developing equivalent technical or measurement skills may be considered in its place. Candidates need foundational math skills, knowledge of electronic test instruments and gas chromatography, familiarity with industry measurement standards and DOT regulations, and experience with equipment used in gas measurement and control.
