About The Position
CIP VA is seeking a skilled Measure & Install Technician to join their growing team. This hybrid role involves splitting time between collecting precise field measurements and completing expert installations. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and looking for a dynamic role that keeps them moving.
Requirements
- Background in installation, residential construction, or a similar technical role preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Travel to residential construction sites to collect, record, and return accurate, legible field data per CIP guidelines.
- Follow installation instructions carefully to ensure high-quality results on-site.
- Plan and prioritize daily assignments to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Maintain clear, concise communication with office personnel regarding field updates or issues.
- Operate a company-provided vehicle safely, keep it clean and inventoried, and report maintenance needs promptly.
