About The Position

KenCrest supports people with intellectual disabilities to live full and meaningful lives in their communities. We believe people should spend their days doing things that matter to them, like volunteering, meeting friends, enjoying hobbies, going to local events, and being part of everyday community life. The Meaningful Day Community Lead DSP helps make this happen. In this role, you will support people directly and lead a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). You will supervise, support, and train staff, serve as a role model, and be a steady point of support when questions or challenges come up. You will help plan and coordinate daily activities based on each person’s goals, interests, and choices. An important part of this role is helping people get where they need to go and you’ll use your own car to provide occasional transportation, which supports independence and access to the community. You’ll also complete basic administrative work to keep services running smoothly. This role is a good fit for someone who likes helping others, feels comfortable leading a small team, and enjoys being active in the community during daytime hours.
