About The Position

This isn’t just a job — it’s a lifeline for those we serve. Join our team as a Meals on Wheels Driver and help bring nourishment, safety checks, and a friendly smile to seniors who rely on us daily. Deliver meals safely and on schedule to elderly clients using a company vehicle. Load, organize, and transport up to 100 meals per day while maintaining food safety standards. Provide friendly, respectful customer service during each delivery. Follow assigned delivery routes and adjust as needed for weather, traffic, or client needs. Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any issues, concerns, or changes in client condition. Ensure the company vehicle remains clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Follow all safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures when handling food. Communicate effectively with supervisors, kitchen staff, and program coordinators.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in delivery driving, food service, or community support roles.
  • Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures.
  • Basic understanding of safe driving practices and vehicle operation.
  • Ability to follow routes, read maps, and use basic navigation tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
