About The Position

Presbyterian Homes and Services is seeking a Full-time Meals Delivery Driver to join its Optage Meals team in the role of Service Coordinator/Driver. This Full-time position will be expected to work between 30-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday based on the need of the program. The hours are day shift, generally starting around 7 am. The vehicle is provided and the route is easily navigated through an app on a company provided work phone. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
A Valid Class D driver’s license.
Excellent driving record.
Must possess patience, tact, positive attitude, enthusiasm, ability to work as independently as well as a team player.
Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work independently and effectively with clients, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the public.
Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience as a driver preferred.

Responsibilities

Picking up meals from the Home Delivered Meals kitchen
Delivering the meals to seniors on a specified route
Rotating and observing consumption of food
Assessing home situations
Interacting with customers
Ensuring that seniors are communicated with and are safe
Reporting any information that presents a question or concern for a senior’s well-being or safety to management immediately
Maintaining documentation including collecting and filing menus
Returning the food carriers to the home delivered meals main kitchen
