CARE Canada is looking for a MEAL Specialist to join their team. This role reports to the Senior Advisor, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and works with the MEAL team, Country Office colleagues, and partners to strengthen MEAL systems across development and humanitarian programming. The MEAL Specialist provides technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including results frameworks, theories of change, data collection, analysis, evaluations, donor reporting, learning, and feedback and accountability mechanisms. The goal is to help teams measure impact, adapt programming, and achieve results. The role requires a strong commitment to gender-transformative, locally led, and feminist MEAL approaches, ensuring evidence is inclusive, ethical, practical, and useful for communities, partners, and project teams. Additionally, the specialist will contribute to organizational learning, proposal development, knowledge products, and donor engagement.
