About The Position
Avalon Care Center Honolulu is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to join our team! This position is viewed as a key financial and clinical member of the management team. This position will not be subject to nursing “call” schedules.
Requirements
- Current, active license to practice as Registered RN in State of practice.
- Well-versed in inter-personal communications.
- Familiar with the RAI process and Case Management.
- Able to read, write, and speak English.
- Meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required.
- Includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all of the facility Medicare and Managed Care residents as directed by the Resident Assessment Director.
- Oversight of all services provided during inpatient stay from admission to discharge.
- Accurate and timely completion of all OBRA required assessments.
