About The Position

Avalon Care Center Northpointe in Spokane is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to join their team. The role involves using nursing skills to serve others in a fantastic facility. The Resident Assessment Coordinator will be responsible for all facility Medicare and Managed Care residents as directed by the Resident Assessment Director, including oversight of all services from admission to discharge. This role is also responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all OBRA required assessments and is considered a key financial and clinical member of the management team. This position will not be subject to nursing 'call' schedules.

Requirements

Must have a current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse RN in State of practice
Must be well-versed in inter-personal communications
Must be familiar with the RAI process and Case Management
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must meet all local health regulation and pass post-employment physical exam if required
This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry

Responsibilities

Responsible for all of the facility Medicare and Managed Care residents as directed by the Resident Assessment Director
Oversight of all service provided during inpatient stay from admission to discharge
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all OBRA required assessments
