About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking health care rockstars to join their team as a MDS Coordinator | RN. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the RAI process and care management process from admission to discharge, adhering to company policies, Federal, State, and Certification guidelines. The position may involve coordinating information systems operations and education for the clinical department, under the direction of the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
• Must possess a thorough understanding of the Quality Indicator process, OBRA regulations, and Minimum Data Set
• Knowledge of the care planning process required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Prior MDS experience highly preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Excellent knowledge of Case-Mix, the Federal Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate completion of the RAI process and care management process from admission to discharge in accordance with company policy and procedures, and Federal, State and Certification guidelines, and all other entities as appropriate- Minimum Data Set, discharge, and admission tracking, etc.
• Coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department, with direction from the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement.
