About The Position

This role focuses on testing Master Data Management (MDM) ETL applications. The key responsibilities involve defining and implementing test data strategies, leading the testing of ETL pipelines for data marts and data warehouses, and identifying data validation scenarios to ensure coverage for data migration, transformation, and integration. The position requires designing, developing, and optimizing tests to validate ETL workflows, data governance, data quality rules, and golden record creation. A significant part of the role involves writing and reviewing complex SQL queries for data validation against business rules and transformation logic, and collaborating with business analysts, QA, and development teams to understand data requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. Automation of test data generation and provisioning processes is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

• Strong experience in MDM Testing
• Hands-on experience in ETL Testing
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and stored procedures
• Strong understanding of data modeling relational databases and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in data quality checks and troubleshooting data issues
• Good knowledge of Python for automation and data processing
• More than 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience as an MDM tester
• Experience working in projects with Transformation initiatives and following Agile methodology
• Informatica MDM Administration
• INFORMATICA-MDM
• MDM Conceptual

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms like Azure Data Factory

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test data strategies for MDM ETL applications
