Manages the talent acquisition process from sourcing to hiring and complete onboarding of new employees. Engages a team of professional recruiters to identify high-potential candidates and complete the recruitment procedures. Coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management and quality improvement programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for continuous improvements for our sourcing and recruitment procedures and maintains alignment with ongoing strategic imperatives. Essential Functions Establishes the vision and strategy to maintain and evolve talent acquisition operational plans, ensuring they meet the current and future employment needs for FedEx, and ensure all programs have operational excellence and meet the objectives and impact metrics. Lead global talent acquisition, which includes delivering optimal stakeholder management, enterprise strategy with localization/regional flexibility where required, and measurement and reporting of outcomes. Responsible for the vision and leadership for developing talent acquisition processes and programs with emphasis on the implementation of technical and innovative alternative talent sourcing approaches, talent programs, optimized processes, user experiences, and contingent worker strategies Tracks and controls operating budget. Coordinates and facilitates consultation with stakeholders to define talent acquisition requirements. Implements, develops and enforces policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable government agencies and has demonstrated knowledge of employment related laws and their application in a corporate environment. Use data to better understand team effectiveness and leverage unique data points & methodologies to solve talent acquisition challenges. Provides leadership and direction promoting the people-service-profit philosophy as well as encouraging the growth and development of team members Maintains alignment with various business functions to proactively address talent strategies. Frequently gives presentations to executives. Perform other duties as assigned.
