About The Position

This position performs a variety of tasks that relate to the preparation and delivery of human milk and infant/pediatric formulas and transfer of information concerning patient formula orders. The technician is responsible for adherence to all food safety/sanitation regulations established by the hospital and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or (GED)
• One year of relevant job experience exercising problem solving skills and demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS within 90 days of hire/transfer
• Serv Safe certification within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in applied science or related field
• 2 years of NICU experience
• 6-12 months of clinical experience working in a hospital or medical setting
