About The Position

A MCRT Triage Dispatcher for mobile crisis response acts as the first point of contact and plays a critical role in triage decision-making for behavioral health emergencies in accordance with established protocols and supervisory guidance. Their primary goal is to screen a caller's situation, determine the level of risk, manage and document in multiple platforms and dispatch a mobile crisis team when screening reflects a team can accept.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health with two (2) years of experience in mental health or substance use services.
Including at least One (1) year of crisis experience at an inpatient, ACT, CRT, CSU, MCRT or a crisis call center.
Sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues.
Firm understanding of mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and community resources.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and BLS certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.
All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.

Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
