About The Position

This position involves sponsoring and coordinating various school extra-curricular programs, specifically focusing on the MCHS Football JV/Frosh Offensive Coordinator role. The responsibilities include promoting the program, planning activities, organizing and supervising practices, teaching fundamental skills, ensuring participant eligibility (including insurance and consent), acting as a positive role model, recommending equipment purchases, and adhering to school policies and professional ethics.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate or a minimum of 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
Successful completion a criminal records check.
Current certification in first aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

Sponsor in various school extra-curricular programs.
Promote extra-curricular programs in the schools and community.
Plan the assigned extra-curricular program.
Organize and supervise practices and meetings.
Teach individual fundamental skills of the extra-curricular activity.
Check eligibility of participants, including insurance coverage and parent consent.
Provide students a proper role model, emotional support, patience, a friendly attitude and general guidance.
Recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies as appropriate for the health, safety, and welfare of participants.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Maintain regular attendance.
Adhere to the Professional Code of Ethics.
Follow all McCracken County Public Schools Policies and Procedures.
