About The Position

The Mechanical Specialist I performs industrial mechanical and basic electrical repairs to production equipment and systems. This role follows all safety and code requirements and works under the direction of maintenance supervision and/or management. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. The role is located in McClure, PA.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
7–10 years related experience
Advanced mechanical knowledge with basic electrical proficiency.
Strong understanding of industrial equipment.
Effective communication skills.
LOTO Certification.
Electrical Theory and Applications Training.
Use required PPE.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and support systems.
Conduct mechanical repairs and basic electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments.
Perform work up to—but not including—adjustments or repairs of computerized controls.
Set up and operate equipment requiring basic electrical adjustments.
Provide personal hand tools not supplied by the department.
Accurately account for all working time.
Communicate issues to supervisors and team members.
Perform duties safely and professionally.
Comply with company policies.
Work effectively in a team environment and maintain attendance.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support operations and business needs.
