About The Position

This role is responsible for managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. The Team Leader will ensure accurate documentation, compliance with regulations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and inventory control. A strong emphasis is placed on promoting a safety culture and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant standards.

Requirements

Forklift certification required.
Strong working knowledge of Oracle WMS, T4M, and Microsoft Excel.
Experience managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of inventory management principles, including FIFO, cycle counting, physical inventories, inventory accuracy, and material traceability.
Experience supporting production scheduling and material flow to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Ability to analyze data, develop reports, and drive process improvements.
Experience collaborating with Production, Maintenance, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience monitoring and improving KPIs, including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and warehouse performance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Manage shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
Ensure accurate shipping and receiving documentation and compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and inventory control.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, health, and safety standards.
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
Ensure safe material handling, storage, and transportation practices.
Train, coach, and ensure certification of employees operating forklifts.
Support compliance with customer-specific requirements as applicable.
Analyze data, develop reports, and drive process improvements.
Monitor and improve KPIs, including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and warehouse performance.
Support production scheduling and material flow to ensure uninterrupted operations.
