About The Position

Advanced Vehicle Development is seeking an experienced MBSE Systems Tools Developer to coordinate the MBSE toolchain, lead pilots of new tools, develop integrations with GM engineering systems, and enable teams through training and technical support. The role connects AVD engineering needs with Information Technology and enterprise tool owners to establish a scalable, traceable, and supportable MBSE ecosystem. The position coordinates toolchain strategy, environments, access, issues, roadmap, and user support; leads pilots involving tools such as Cameo and IBM Rhapsody Systems Engineering; and translates pilot results into recommendations and deployable capabilities. It develops and supports integrations with GM engineering systems, defines integration requirements, prepares training and onboarding materials, and serves as the technical contact for AVD MBSE tools. The role also facilitates regular MBSE toolchain Program Integration Team meetings, manages issues, actions, decisions, integration planning, automation priorities, and budgets in partnership with IT. It collaborates with IT owners, enterprise tool teams, vendors, and AVD engineering teams to resolve defects, coordinate upgrades, and deliver improvements. The position is hybrid, with the selected candidate expected to report to a specific location at least three times per week or at another frequency set by their manager. Travel is less than 25%. Relocation benefits may be available to eligible candidates under company policy. The role requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle regularly; a company vehicle is provided only after passing a Motor Vehicle Report review.
