About The Position

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) is seeking an MBO Operations & Analytics Manager for a newly created role within a team focused on transforming the MBO process. This role is responsible for the "digital MBO engine," encompassing the systems, data, and automation that support the enterprise MBO process. The position requires a balance between analytics/automation and daily operations, including building and maintaining automated validation, data integration, scoring, and dashboarding capabilities, as well as managing exception-based workflow and providing support to business owners and executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in business/data analytics, systems administration, financial planning & analysis, or operations roles involving performance management, incentive, or scorecard systems.
  • Hands-on experience with data integration, validation, and dashboarding tools (e.g., Excel/Power BI/Tableau-class tools).
  • Experience building AI-assisted tools or portals for internal business processes (e.g., using low-code/AI platforms such as Gemini, Codex, or similar).
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to design workflows and exception-management logic.
  • Effective communicator able to work directly with business owners on data and process issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Varicent or similar incentive/performance management platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated validation of MBO data submissions to reduce manual review and error risk.
  • Own data integration across source systems (e.g., Varicent) and downstream scorecards for consistent data flows.
  • Develop and maintain the scoring engine for MBO results calculation and build dashboards for leadership visibility.
  • Build and expand self-service capabilities for executives and business owners to access reports, forms, and status updates.
  • Evaluate, prototype, and implement AI-enabled approaches to improve MBO administration efficiency.
  • Manage day-to-day MBO system setup and maintenance, including scorecard configuration.
  • Support actual collection and score calculation for evaluation cycles, coordinating with business owners.
  • Respond to user and system administration needs (corrections, access issues, troubleshooting) with a focus on reducing recurring requests.
  • Support the Leadership Committee evaluation cycle by ensuring data, scoring, and dashboards are ready and accurate.
